Position: Human Resource Business Partner I
Company: Textron Simulation and Training Systems
Reports to: Director, Human Resources
Job Summary :
This position will act as primary Human Resource contact for internal clients. Responsible for coordination and/or administration of all HR related activities
Lead and implement key Human Resources processes and initiatives, employee engagement events and activities, event coordination, and community relations.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Assist in development of affirmative action plans
Interprets and applies established human resource policies within assigned operations.
Interfaces with HR Operations, including preparation, submission and follow-up of personnel information notices and associated activities.
Provide general interpretation of employee leave and benefits such as: Tuition Reimbursement, EAP, COBRA, FMLA, and other benefits.
Coordinates recruiting as assigned including internal posting, external recruiting and interviewing, ensuring that properly qualified employee are selected. Ensures compliance with any established inclusive workforce goals.
Assists managers in performance management matters, including development of performance improvement plans, employee performance coaching and development of individual development plans.
Administer relocation and immigration activities.
Assists with the implementation of training efforts including coordinating training programs and maintaining training records. May facilitate training classes.
Provides support of a confidential and complex nature.
Assists with wage and benefit surveys including compiling and analyzing results.
Performs special projects as assigned.
Performs all duties in accordance with the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.
## Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills Required:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Strong communications skills, verbal and written. Solid listening skills
Technically-savvy, with demonstrated experience and interest in using various technologies
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to build effective relationships and provide superior customer service
Organized worker with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Perform complex and varied tasks requiring independent knowledge and judgment at the same time maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
